the seruci II project
AMA has requested authorisation to use the site from the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (RAS) and the municipality of Gonnesa.
Our project has two main areas, each with specific and complementary objectives.
- CO production and pre-purification facility : a facility dedicated to the production and purification of CO, equipped with a pipeline system approximately 500 meters long to transport the CO to our cryogenic distillation unit.
- Cryogenic distillation facility : The distillation facility will be located inside Well 1 of the Seruci mine, approximately 350 meters deep. It will integrate existing structures from the Aria Project and add new equipment above and below ground.

why seruci is the right choise
Carbosulcis S.p.A. (https://www.carbosulcis.eu/Home/) and the Seruci mine site offer unique advantages for our project :
- An experienced team of miners and engineers with years of experience in mining operations;
- Four available mining wells (two 350 meters deep and two 500 meters);
- A 350-meter well in which the support structure for the future installation of the cryogenic distillation column of the Aria Project is currently being built;
- Direct vehicular access to the bottom of all wells via wide underground galleries and tunnels.
patent
One of AMA’s main advantages is our exclusive partnership with the ARIA Foundation. We have obtained an exclusive commercial license for an innovative patent, which represents the technological core of our solutions and allows us to offer unique products on the market. Below are the countries where the patent is active.

Aria Foundation

Founded by Cristiano Galbiati, Alberto Devoto, and the University of Cagliari, the Aria Foundation promotes the development of Sulcis-Iglesiente by implementing the Aria project.
The Aria Foundation employs 20 miners who support the continuous modernisation of the Seruci mining well. It holds the Italian patent number 102017000042150 and its international extensions, which protect the core technology of the Aria Project globally until 2037.
The Aria Foundation has granted A Meras Annos an exclusive license for commercial use in exchange for a purchase price and annual royalties.
The yearly royalties will commence from the start of production once annual revenues exceed an agreed-upon threshold.
