On January 22, 2025, the Gonnesa Municipal Council dedicated its session to analysing and discussing the first item on the agenda: “Disposition of buildings and municipal areas in the former mining area of Seruci for the development of the Seruci II Project focused on the production of stable isotopes.” During the meeting, Mayor Cocco introduced the topic, followed by a detailed project presentation by Engineer A. Martini, Attorney F. Sanna, and Professor C. Galbiati. The experts clearly outlined the project’s evolution, the proposed structure for the facility, and the planning for the use of the areas at the mining site, explaining how these developments will contribute to the economic and technological revival of the region.
